Mosharraf Karim is a hugely popular actor of Bangladesh. He is born and brought up in Dhaka city. Mosharraf Karim is widely popular among the general spectators all over the country for his incredible acting and linguistic skills. He has so far achieved many rewards for his acting. Although he was born in Dhaka, Mosharraf Karim’s original home district is in Barishal. In an interview with the Daily Star, Mosharraf Karim once told that his acting skills developed in the school theatre. He felt an intense passion for acting during the period of 1986 and joined in ‘Nattyo kendro’. He is still a member of that ‘Nattyo kendro’.

Mosharraf Karim’s unique acting added a different dimension in the television acting in Bangladesh. In the year of 1999 he acted in a single episode drama named ‘Otithi’ directed by Ferdous Hasan and was telecasted in Channel – I. He struggled in the first phase of his life. His real journey in the media started in 2004 when he acted in two dramas which brought him the fame as a persevering actor. Mosharraf started acting regularly after he performed in the famous television film ‘Carom’ with Tisha.
In 2009 he acted in the movie ‘Third person singular number’ directed by Mostofa Sarwar Faruki. Afterwards he started acting in different mega – serials. His first mega serial is ‘420’which brought him immense popularity throughout the country. Later he acted in popular drama serials like ‘Vober hat’ and ‘Ghor – kutum’ where he performed as a comedy actor. Later he acted in the film ‘Daruchini dip’ directed by Toukir Ahmed – the script of this film is based upon the story of Humayun Ahmed. One of his acted films ‘Projapoti’ has been released several days ago. At present he is acting in the film ‘Television’ directed by Mostofa Sarwar Faruki.
