Brilliant singer Zakiya Sultana Kornia was born in 8th May of 1989 in the district of Magura. She came to Dhaka during her early childhood due to the service engagement of her father here. Kornia’s father’s name is Abu Bakr and mother is Selina Aktar.
Bangladeshi singer Zakiya Sultana Kornia completed her SSC from BAF Shaheen College and HSC from Ideal Commerce College. Now she is studying BBA in Eastern University. She has been learning to sing since her childhood. Kornea received the first lesson of music from her mother. Afterwards Zakiya Sultana Kornia learned singing from Titu Shihab when she was a student of class six. Ostad Shanjib taught her lessons about classical music.
Kornia established her place in the music industry through stage performances. She became the first runner up in the competition of Power voice, 2012 which accelerate her works with music. She is now regularly performing in different stage shows, television live shows play back and mixed album.
Zakiya Sultana Kornia‘s first play back was in the movie ‘The story of samara’; the song titled ‘Matal haowa boye jay’. She sang an item song in the movie ‘Shopno chowa’ directed by Shafiq. Kornea wish to study Masters upon music. Her life is evolving now with study and songs.
